  • TRAINING MODULE OVERVIEWS

    MODULE 1

Starting with the "why". We introduce the reasons we believe we should have ambassadors and why they require training. We will have an open discussion addressing the issues ambassadors can possibly tackle in their respective communities. This module will also include a general overview that discusses the history of EMA, our mission, the work we have done over the years, what is possible, the perks of being an ambassador, and the expectations of ambassadors including the qualifying/ graduating assignment.

    MODULE 2

The over-arching themes for this training are about individual and community resilience and regeneration. We will go over individual and community holistic health, event-specific health and safety (including environmental), as well as how our communities and the ambassadors we train can respond to disasters and help our surrounding communities rejuvenate through artistic response.

    MODULE 3

This module is about community building. We cover a general overview of the different avenues or platforms that can be utilized for the creation of community, how to do it (revisiting EMA expectations for ambassadors and specifically addressing event creation). We provide an overview of community building strategies as well as a tangible list of resources we recommend familiarizing oneself with and utilizing.

    MODULE 4

This module is dedicated to brainstorming achievable action plans tailored specifically for each trained ambassador.
