    Community Ambassadors

    Make things happen

Ambassadors are organizers and by default leaders in their communities. They help spread the word about EMA ideals, share campaigns, organize charitable events, and run community action weekends.

    Education

Ambassadors have a myriad of themes they can pick from to hold educational events or create activations. In the past we have educated our community about environmental awareness, green living inspiration, music education, music therapy, electronics waste recycling, art recycling, hearing protection, harm reduction, and healthy living.

    Community Service

EMA ambassadors are encouraged to organize community service action weekends. Since 2014 we have cleaned beaches, waterways, local and national parks, planted trees and community gardens. Action weekends are community building, provide our surrounding communities with a benefit, and give us the ability to interface and educate our community about other issues (health and safety or other upcoming charitable events).

    Charitable Events + Campaigns

    Play it FWD

Each member of EMA is encouraged to "Play it FWD" at least once a year, meaning they use their particular skills or talents to help their communities, benefit a charity, or participate in an EMA run or promoted campaign or community service weekend. Some of our members donate performances to charitable events or donate music to our EMA Label.

    Advocacy

    Protecting our culture

We cannot help the world if we do not have the culture that develops us into who we are. In years past we have been misunderstood and our culture threatened by municipalities including major markets that are home to our major gatherings. EMA has proven a commitment to advocate in times of need in order to preserve our cultural heritage.
